Vatican Radio may begin Macedonian service in 2007

A Macedonian delegation led by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski had an official audience on Saturday with the Head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Benedict XVI. Grusevski said afterwards that “we can rely on the Vatican as supporter and partner to the Republic of Macedonia” and, according to Gruevski, Vatican Radio might start broadcasting programmes in the Macedonian language as of next year.
