15/11/2007: Ann/KP2YL and Brian/KP2HC have relocated to California, but will visit the island of St. Croix (NA-106, WLOTA LH-2477), November 15-23rd. They will be QRV on HF SSB and CW throughout their stay. Brian will monitor 6m and take full advantage of any openings on that band. Ann will take part in a Multi-Op effort for the ARRL November Sweepstakes Phone from the NP2B contest station. QSL KP2YL and KP2HC direct only via their California address. QSL NP2B via NP2B. 15/11/2007: Operators Jörn/DG5XJ, Bernd/DH1ND and Jürgen/DJ5HD will be active November 15-28th as PJ7/homecalls from the island of Sint Maarten (NA-105) and as FS/homecalls from the island of St. Martin (NA-105, WLOTA LH-0383). 16/11/2007: Pekka, OH2YY to be QRV from Mauritius Island (AF-049) as 3B8/OH2YY, November 16-22nd. Look for him on be on 40-10m SSB, using 100w with vertical and dipole antennas. QSL via home call, direct or bureau. [NG3K]

16/11/2007: A Dxpedition to Socorro Island (NA-030, WLOTA LH-2941, WW Loc. D48MS), Revillagigedo (XF4) by the Federacion Mexicana de Radio Experimentadores, A.C. will take place between November 16th and December 16th, using the call signs 6E4LM, XF4YK and XF4YW. This expedition is to celebrate the 75th anniversary of FMRE. Their first stop will be Clarion Island (NA-115) where they will operate for 24 hours starting November 16th, then they will travel to Socorro Island where they will be QRV for one onth. Team members include Carlos/XE1YK, Manuel/XE1VVD, Eduardo/XE2YW and Daniel/XE3RBA. They will be QRV 160-10m plus 50 MHz-144 MHz-430 MHz and Satellite activity using SSB, CW, and digital modes. 17/11/2007: Rosel/DL3KWR and Hardy/DL3KWF will be active as MD/DL3KWR and MD/DL3KWF from the Isle of Man (EU-116, WLOTA LH-0449), November 17-30th. They plan to operate mostly CW (CQWW DX CW Contest included) and on 12, 17 and 30 metres. Hardy will also try to operate RTTY and PSK31. 17/11/2007: Starting November 17, 2007 up to March 2008, all Belgian SOTA references on several bands and modes (always QRP) will be activated by the team of Nick/ON3DSN, Johan/ON3IWB, Ed/ON4EDM, Paul/ON6AW, Luc/ON6DSL and ONL Jeroen as homecall/p. 17/11/2007: Operators Roger/W7VV, Ralph/VE7XF, Harry/K7LAZ and Jim/K7WA (FISTS #13341) will be active as VP5/homecall from VP5JM's "Hamlet" on Providenciales (Provo) Island, Caicos Islands (NA-002), between November 17th and 30th, including a Multi-Two entry in the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 24-25th) as VP5W. 17/11/2007: Members of the Cherokee County DX Society, namely Doug/KI4PAU, Kenney/KF4HUD, Phil/K4PBW and Bob/KI4BDM will be active November 17th, using the club call W4CDX, from Godfrey's Island (USi AL-009L, WW Loc. 18/11/2007: Ray, ND6S has planned a vacation operation to Treasure Cay Villa 415, Bahamas (NA-080), from November 18th to December 1st. He will use the call sign C6AGY and will also participate in the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 24-25th), as a Single-Op/All-Band or Single-Op/Single-Band (15m) entry. QSL via ND6S. [NG3K]

20/11/2007: As the Iraqi government has reopened the amateur radio service as of November 20th, I'd like to annouce the following operation: Scott, AD7MI/YI9MI will be active November 20, 2007 to May 15, 2008 from US Army Camp Taji, Iraq, using the call YI9MI. 21/11/2007: The VooDoo Contest Group previously announced that its project for the 2007 CQWW DX CW Contest (November 24-25th) will be in 3X, Guinea. This is our 14th straight year operating from various countries in West Africa in the Multi-Multi category of the contest.
They will mount seven 1KW stations with monoband antennas for all six bands right beside the Atlantic ocean in Conakry, the capital of Guinea. The call-sign they have been allocated is 3XY5D. The group still hopes to secure a shorter call but this is now the most likely to be used in the contest. They also have a VHF licence for 2mtr EME: 3XT1 (3X tango one with no suffix). QSL 3XY5D via G3SXW. Look for the team to be QRV a few days before and after the contest. All logs will be uploaded to LoTW soon after their return home. More information at:

21/11/2007: Nick, G3RWF will be in Kampala, Uganda from November 21-30th using the call sign 5X1NH. He will be operating from the station of 5X1GS, including the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 24-25th) as a Single-Op/Low-Power entry. This is a solo dedicated DX outing with a short safari to the Mountains of the Moon after the contest. Nick will also travel to Western Uganda and will do some "spare time" portable work on the low and WARC bands using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK. 21/11/2007: Rich/K2WR, Dick/GU4CHY and possibly others will be active from the isle of Jersey (EU-013, WLOTA LH-0818) as MJ0AWR and GJ4CHY respectively, including a Multi-Single or Multi-Two entry in the CQWW DX CW Contest using the call GJ2A. 21/11/2007: Look for Dave, G3TBK to be QRV November 21-29th from the island of St. Vincent (NA-109, WLOTA LH-0492) as J88DR, CQWW DX CW Contest (November 24-25th) included as a Single-Op/All-Band entry. 21/11/2007: Hiro, JA6WFM will be operating as JF6YME/6 from Yoron Island [Yoron Shima] (AS-023, JIIA AS-023-013, WLOTA LH-0287), JA6 Amami Island Group, November 21-24th. Look for him on the HF bands using SSB, CW and RTTY. QSL via the JARL bureau. [JI6KVR]

21/11/2007: Nikolay, LZ1NK will be active as TA3/LZ1NK from the Bursa region of Asian Turkey between November 21-26th, including the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 24-25th) as a Single-Op/Single-Band (40m)/Low-Power entry using the call sign TC3A. 21/11/2007: Bud, AA3B, will be active as V26K from the island of Antigua (NA-100, WLOTA LH-1118) between November 21-26th.
